ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal, July 22 (PIA) –The Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE)-Rizal recently led the awarding of 30 livelihood starter kits to residents of South Ville 10, Barangay Plaza Aldea in Tanay.
DOLE-Rizal officer-in-charge Engr. Mercedes Delgado said the beneficiaries identified by the National Housing Authority (NHA) were distributed with livelihood kits containing hair coloring, make up, nail care and foot spa equipment worth P 5,300 each last July 19.
Aside from the distribution, trainers from HBC Cosmetics held workshops on the use of the newly received kits.
Present during the starter kits distribution were DOLE-Rizal Sr. labor & employment officer Vicky Natanauan, NHA Southern Luzon coordinator Sally Sarmiento, and DOLE and NHA staff.
Earlier, DOLE and NHA also distributed 30 starter kits to Barangay Pinugay in Baras last July 11. (GG-PIA4A)
