ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal, Jan 15 (PIA) — The Philhealth office in Rizal encourages locals to join the agency’s Nationwide Run 2013 set on February 17, 2013.
The nationwide run marks the agency’s 18th year anniversary since its establishment in 1995 through Republic Act 7875.
Rolando Gonzales of the Philhealth Rizal Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) said runners from the province will join other NCR participants in the fun run at the Quirino Grandstand, Luneta, Manila.
The race is categorized into 3K, 5K, 10K and 18K all of which are inclusive of singlet, race bib, race kit, raffle coupon, food and timing chip (5K, 10K, 15K only). Registration fees are P 350 (3K), P 550 (5K), P 650 (10K) and P 750 (18K).
Proceeds of the run will go to the national run’s sponsor, the Philippine Children Medical Center and Cottolengo Filipino, a Department of Social Welfare and Development accredited non-government organization catering to abandoned and disabled persons especially children.
