ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal, Nov. 30 (PIA) — The Taytay Municipal Government has inaugurated on November 27 a new school building for the Muzon Elementary School.
The two-storey structure with six classrooms was inaugurated by Mayor Joric Gacula, former Rizal Governor Nini Ynares, local officials and the Muzon Elementary School Parent-Teachers’ Association.
The new structure is seen to improve the learning conditions of elementary students here.
Taytay Municipal Administrator Joyce Yoingco-Castillo said the municipality will continue to prioritize education.
“Taytay will continue to construct buildings for those schools with a need for them,” she said.
Castillo also added that the municipality will encourage affordable education in order to further boost its already high literacy rate.
According to her, Taytay has also been recently granted by DepEd more slots for teachers. The local government is also undergoing improvements in terms of its educational materials, security and school supplies distributed during the start of the school year. (GG-PIA4A)
