Taytay holds 2nd Livelihood Fair: 10 livelihood starter kits given

ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal, Oct 5 (PIA) — The municipality of Taytay, Rizal conducted its second Livelihood Fair on September 27 at the Tesda Building, Taytay, Rizal.

Taytay’s annual fair featured seminars and demonstrations of several livelihoods to the public.

In line with the event, the local Public Employment Services Office (PESO) headed by Gina De Leon-Pineda, manager, gave 10 livelihood starter kits to the winners of a raffle draw. Prizes were also given by the different municipal department heads and members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

The 10 starter kits given to the raffle winners included packages for chocolate making, food processing, facial care, hair cutting, accessories making, reflexology, re-loading entrepreneurship, slipper making, tattoo lessons, and painting lessons.

The first livelihood fair held last year was initiated by Mayor Joric Gacula and wife, Joan. Its success led to the second livelihood fair this year also participated by Atty. Ev Duavit, wife of Rizal first District Congressman Joel Duavit with Tesda-Rizal Provincial Director Velma Salazar. (CPG/GG-PIA4A with reports from Taytay PESO)
